FAQ.
What does engaging Hikari-Ma look like?
Most engagements start with a single brief into one branch — Studio for a scenography or web project, Technology for a tool, Talent for a role to fill. We scope, agree, and deliver. When projects need more than one branch, we run them as one team.
How long does a project usually take?
It depends on the work. A scenography sprint can be 6–10 weeks. A software pilot is usually 2–4 months. Talent placements move on the project’s schedule. We give a clear timeline upfront and stick to it.
Do you stay involved after a project ships?
Yes. We offer ongoing iterations on shipped work — Studio retainers for evolving brand and event programmes, Technology product support, and Talent representation across recurring projects.
Can I engage just one branch?
Yes — most clients work with one branch. Studio handles design and production. Technology builds software. Talent represents people. The branches share a discipline, not a delivery model.
What does Hikari-Ma Technology build?
Custom software and AI workflows for AV companies, plus our own products. Miru is our pre-design workspace. Osprai reads plans and schematics directly. We also build bespoke tools and automation for AV teams.
How do payments work?
Fixed-scope projects split 50% on signature, 50% on delivery. Retainers run monthly, billed at the start of the cycle. Talent placements follow standard agency commission terms.
What if the first direction isn’t right?
That’s part of the process. We build in revision rounds before any direction is locked, and we listen to where the brief shifts. Better to redraft once than to ship something nobody wanted.
Do you work internationally?
Yes. Our bases are in France and the Netherlands; our work travels. Remote coordination is our default, on-site delivery wherever the project needs us.
